Privacy Policy

Modlr LLC ("Closr," "we," "us," or "our") operates useclosrapp.com and the Closr application. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights with respect to it. By using Closr, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account Information: Your email address and password when you create an account.
• Voice Profile Data: Responses to our voice calibration interview covering your tone, closing style, humor, objection handling, conviction, and the phrases that are uniquely yours. This data is stored as structured JSON and powers every close Closr writes for you.
• Offer Data: Information about your products or services including offer names, prices, payment plans, transformation promises, and checkout links that you configure inside the app.
• DM Content You Submit: Conversation screenshots or pasted text you submit for analysis. This content is processed to generate closing replies and is not stored beyond the session.
• Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, session duration, and similar interaction data collected automatically.
• Payment Information: Billing details processed by Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
• Communications: Any messages you send to our support team.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the Closr application and related services.
• Generate AI-powered DM closes, discovery call briefs, and follow-up messages personalized to your voice profile and offers.
• Share your Voice Profile with other apps in the Modlr suite (such as Modlr) if you are a subscriber to those products, so your voice identity is consistent across the ecosystem.
• Process payments and manage your subscription.
• Send transactional emails including receipts, subscription confirmations, and service updates.
• Respond to support requests.
• Monitor for fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms of Service.

3. Voice Profile and AI Processing

Your Voice Profile is the core of your Closr experience. It is stored as structured data tied to your account and is used to personalize every close the app generates for you.

When you submit DM conversations or discovery call information for processing, that content is sent to Anthropic's API for AI-generated responses. Anthropic's data handling is governed by their own privacy policy and API usage policies. We do not sell your Voice Profile or interview responses to third parties.

If you subscribe to other apps in the Modlr suite, your Voice Profile may be accessed by those apps to maintain a consistent voice identity across products. You will be informed of this at the point of subscription.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share your information only in the following circumstances:

• Service Providers: With third-party vendors who help us operate the service, including Anthropic (AI processing), Stripe (payments), Supabase (database and authentication), and hosting providers. These vendors are contractually bound to protect your data.
• Within the Modlr Suite: Your Voice Profile may be shared across Modlr suite products (Modlr, Analyzr, Profilr) if you hold an active subscription to those products.
• Legal Requirements: If required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public.
• Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information and Voice Profile for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription and close your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS) and access controls on our database. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your account and associated data, and opt out of marketing communications at any time.

8. Children's Privacy

Closr is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email. Continued use of Closr after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
